Shipping/Delivery Issues, Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact Village Green at 1(815) 877-9559 within three days of receiving the item to report the issue.

 

Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable as part of your return or exchange, and all return shipping will be at the customer’s expense. Returned items may also be dropped off at the store in person at no charge.

 

Product Warranties

Village Green honors warranties on all furniture and trees, except where items are sold as is or under clearance marked with .88 in the price. For information on specific warranties on items, please visit the manufacturer’s website or contact us for details at 1(815) 877-9559.

 

Winter Holiday Items

Returns of holiday items must be initiated by December 24th of the same year they were purchased. Holiday items have a 7 day return window from the date of purchase.

 

Village Green Return Policy

- No returns/exchanges without receipt or proof of purchase.

- No returns/exchanges after 7 days on Plant Material and Holiday merchandise. 30 days on all other items.

- Perennials and annuals are not included in any warranty.

- Most Nursery trees and shrubs come with a 1 year warranty. Roses and Japanese Maples, Rhododendrons and Nursery plants planted in containers, not in the ground, will only be warrantied during the growing season in which purchased. See Nursery slip for details.

- No cash refund over $50.00 ( over $50 will receive a store credit in the form of a gift card or a company check, which is mailed)

- Check purchases will be reimbursed by mailed company check after a 10 day waiting period from the original purchase date. There will be a $25.00 NSF (non-sufficient fund) charge.

- Clearance items that end in .88 are “final purchases” and not included in any sales and cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

Requesting a Return

To request a return online:

1) Go to “My Account” at the top of the page in our online store or in the confirmation email you received with your purchase. If you checked out as a guest, simply create a new account with the same email you used to check out with.

2) Go to “My Orders” and select the item you wish to return.

3) At the bottom of the page, select “Return Item(s)” and fill out the form that comes up. Make sure to update the quantity of items you are returning. Under “Return Reason” specify why you would like to return it. Under “Return Action” specify if you are looking for a refund, exchange, etc. and leave any relevant notes in the “Comment” section.

4) Hit “Send” at the bottom, and we will get back to you once we have processed your request.

Please do not mail anything until we have verified and accepted your return request. Any money owed will be refunded to you after we receive your item. Shipping fees will not be refunded and return shipping fees will be at the customer’s expense.
